The percentage indicator is very reliable and almost linear. I usually experience some ‘larger percents’ around 21% and some ‘smaller percents’ around 7-9%.
Your Leaf having 12 bars corresponds with your experienced range. I bet your battery is healthy enough, you probably made a reading mistake in LSP. I would not worry and just drive 🙂
The 24 kWh as mentioned everywhere (as well as the 30 and 40 kWh, FTW) are gross capacity, not the net usable capacity. For a new, healthy 24 kWh this is about 21 kWh (I don’t know exactly). Your 19,3 kWh suggests a SOH of about 90%, which is fine.
The data from the Nissan app probably is not reliable. The app is notorious for missing drives. And the data of the last drive is only available after the first restart of the car.
Thank you Thijs. I agree that 90% SOH makes more sense based on my experience so far.
Re the Nissan app, luckily I drive certain distances (like home-work-home and no in between short trips most of the time) therefore the figures I provided are accurate. But yes, sometimes huge delays in getting the actual data.
Re the inconsistent reading from LSP, I think I have a theory. I will test it and write back 🙂
have a nice weekend!
